Minnie Ellen Crossley born October 2nd 1871 in Ohio, USA, the daughter of James Crossley and Ellen Swinton.
Minnie met and married Richard Reginald Mudge in Peterborough and they moved to Guelph, Ontario.
Minnie was a ball of fire, with abundant energy and drive as well as a strong will, she imparted her work ethic on all those around her.
The Mudge's raised five children and from 1920 to 1955 operated 5 acres of market garden.
