Margaret Ellen Halliburton was born in Carville, Durham, England on January 15th 1895 the daughter of John William Halliburton and Sarah Ann Russell. The family called her Nellie.
Nellie immigrated from England to Canada with her family in 1911 when she was 16 years old.
On April 16th 1923 Nellie married Joseph Pell and they lived in Sarnia Ontario. Joe and Nellie had no children.
Nellie died August 27th 1981 in Sarnia at age 86, she is buried in the Lakeview Cemetery.
