Around 1931 Mary Halliburton took her daughter Violet and grand daughter Shirley Niblock on a visit to England. They visited with Mary's mother, Violet's grandma Clapperton.
Grandma Clapperton was born Hannah Elliott in 1851, she married Robert Clapperton in 1871. Mary was one of nine children.
