In 1908 Jack Halliburton attended the Wesleyan School in England.
A certificate inside of a book awarded to Jack by the Hebburn Education Committee reads, Awarded to John Halliburton for Punctual Maximun Attendance at School, Attention to Lessons, and Good Conduct During the school year ended 31st July 1908. It has
the names John Tuloch, Chairman, Thomas Stuart, Clerk to the Committee and signed by Wm. Appleton Head Teacher.
The book was from The Endeavour Library entitled Driven Into the Ranks, by Rev Rabson Vennel.
